    @kimchiman1000 also …
    @kimchiman1000 also i have some info on prevention. My doctor says do not eat nuts. do not eat grapefruits and cut down on meats and salts and calcium. taking pyridoxine and magnesium supplements together can help prevent them too. drinking tons of water everyday is the main thing i was told to do. were are talking 3 litres a day. thats a lot of dang water. But i was told if i do that i can reduce My chances by 40%

    @kimchiman1000 i …
    @kimchiman1000 i think i have a stone right now that is to big to do anything. i keep having that classic unmistakable flank pain. i’m sure you know the pain i am talking about. even at low levels its no mistaking that pain. anyways its been a dull pain off and on for well over 2 months. it wont move. the pain is in the kidney itself too. i think the stone is to big this time to move on its own. Maybe this method can shake it loose. ill be willing to try it and get back to you on it.

    @MrGizmo757

    Since you get the stones so frequently (unlike me – I only get ‘em every four years or so), you’d be the perfect ‘guinea pig’ for the rest of us vis-a-vis using the lemon juice therapy to control and/or eliminate them. Perhaps you might consider doing the lemon juice thing for the next year and share your results with us? I hope you’ll consider it; you might help a lot of people as well as your self.

    Good luck!

    the first stone i …
    the first stone i got i thought i was going to die. sweating and puking from the pain. 7mm. i was moaning out loud like a from the pain. i have had a stone every 3 months since 05. dr. says i have multiple stones just hanging out in My kidney must have been there a long time and they are just coming out now one by one. i have borderline low citrate levels. i should be on meds to prevent the stones but i cant afford em.

    how can someone go …
    how can someone go for 6 months with a 7mm stone and not do something about the pain right away? If you don’t go in and remove it, the kidney will explode after 5 days. We were told this by a doctor can you explain?

  17. paulagloria says:

    @TheAntiLeft let me …
    @TheAntiLeft let me get this straight….you drank how much lemon juice for 6 months to pass a 7 mm stone painlessly?

  18. mabxoxo says:

    @gizmo48401 My …
    @gizmo48401 My experience in the past is that the pain moves. Most of the time I have muscle spasms where the pain is extremely intense for a few minutes because it is moving the stone and then it stops for a bit. It’s a vicious cycle but at least there are a few mins to breath. If you can get up at all I found that doing a few jumping jacks help jostle the stone and move it along more quickly. If you can there is a medication called Flomax that helps pass stones a bit quicker as well.

    I have been passing …
    I have been passing kidney stones for almost 6 years now and have never heard of the lemon trick you tested. After watching your experiment I am def. going to try this! In the past I have had to do laser stone removals because the stones were too large to pass and it is not a fun experience lol. I’m glad this has worked for you! Oo you may want to take your stone in to a urinary doc bc they can test what kind of stone it is and some kinds are preventable just an fyi lol anyways thanks again!

    The …
    @gizmo48401

    The only real insightful info i can give is, drink a-lot water and lemon juice. For me, the pain gets less severe as the stones moves down the ureter, however, the pain seems to stay in the kidney area until days before they come out. Everybody’s different though.

    Good luck!

  25. TheAntiLeft says:

    I had kidney stones …
    I had kidney stones twice; once (5 mm.) while i was aboard the USS Essex in the middle of the Philippines, and again 4 years later. (7 mm) The latter took 6 months to pass (with lots and lots of lemon juice and water) I actually went in for a lithotripsy and with an I.V connected and the pre-procedure anxiety at it’s highest, i was told that the litho machine was inoperable. I rescheduled for a week later when the x-ray showed no kidney stone. I painlessly passed the 7mm stone the next day.
